Omar Calimbas is an exceptional student even in high school. He finds studying not too difficult. He also is a member of the tennis team in high school competing against other high schools. One day he came home not only exhausted but with a bad cramp. Nicki immediately put him in the jacuzzi. Omar's cramp spread all around his body but thank goodness it subsided. He need to be careful in his water intake during tennis matches.

From high school Omar went to college at University of Texas in Austin. After five years he graduated. He told us he wanted to go into law school. He was accepted at Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, DC. This time he need to apply for a student loan to go to law school. He received a Presidential Award for his role in a school debate. It seemed too fast that Omar is already graduating from law school and he did. He got a job at a firm at Skadden Arps a top merger and acquisition law firm. Omar is

doing well. Exxon and Mobil Oil are merging and his firm was given the contract to provide legality. Omar was assigned to handle it with like eleven lawyers working for him. He did not finished the job. Omar quit the firm. Omar took a job with a non-profit law firm and went to Juneau, Alaska. After a couple of years he left and joined a firm in Saipan, another non-profit company. In Saipan Omar met his future wife Lanie Imperial from La Union, Philippines. They were married in La Union. Omar was not sure if the wedding will go on so he told us to not to travel to the Philippines.

Well the wedding took place so we missed that momentous event. Omar and Lanie returned to the USA and settle in California. Omar got a job for another non-profit company in Berkeley, California called Asian Law Caucus. Omar gravitated into tenant-landlord cases. Today he is an arbitrator for the firm. I supposed Omar will stay in that company until he retires. He is talking about retiring in ... ten years? Hopefully the city which employs him have a good retirement program.

Lanie had twins Gabriel and Zoe, boy and girl fraternal twins. By some coincidence the three of them Lanie, Gabe, and Zoe have the same birthday October 21. Oh they grew fast. Today they are in junior high school and thirteen years old.

Growing fast the twins are into what the kids are into today- electronics. They each have a smart phone, ipad, games, etc. Gabe is playing basketball and getting good at it. In the last game I saw he was the leading scorer in their team. Zoe likes to play the piano. Zoe also have the talent for drawing, something that she probably inherited from my brother Fred although my talent is not from him. Omar also have artistic talent. They are approaching the age where they will start to drive vehicle. I wonder which car they will inherit to drive and bang around?

They are living now in Pittsburg. Omar paid off the mortgage on that house which is a good idea. Hopefully they will stay around the area. If they move, will Nicki and I move too? Ray lives close by in Concord. Ray will probably stay close to Omar and family.
